The Unique Gardens of Piszkowice
Our gardens, founded as early as the 17th century by the construction of 10 stone terraces sloping steeply towards the stream, are unique, as the closest similar example is Książ Castle, further on Prague Castle and even further on Potsdam.
The irregularity of the terraces, despite their baroque metric, has elements of romance, which we zealously exploit by creating intimate and cosy nooks and terraces for sitting and observing nature almost from hiding.
Piszkowice Palace Herbarium
The Piszkowice Palace Herbarium houses a collection of plants that are true treasures of flora. It is a place that combines a passion for botany with the history of horticulture. The Herbarium is a space where you can learn about unique plant species, both traditional and rare specimens.
We use herbs and flowers from the palace herbarium to prepare natural cosmetics in our spa.
The Garden and Herbarium at Piszkowice Palace is not only a place to relax, but also a space that offers guests the opportunity to commune with nature in one of the most beautiful corners of the region.
